Anemometer type MPP is a stationary measurement device intended for measurements of air flow in venting systems of underground mining enterprises as well as surface industry.
Vane detector is used as a measuring element in the anemometer. This device is able to detect direction of flow. Device can cooperate with measurement data transmission systems equipped with various electric standards of transmission. It is possible to define operation in the following systems:
• frequency 8 - 10 - 12 kHz,
• voltage 0.4 - 1,2 - 2.0 V,
• current 4 -12 - 20 mA,
• digital RS-485.
Measurement range of the instrument is equal to ±0,20 - 20,00 m/s. There is a possibility to select other, smaller ranges of measured speeds, according to the technical data.
Moreover the anemometer is equipped with two binary, potential-free, galvanically isolated outputs allowing control of external devices. In case when digital output RS 485 is used, the measurement data can be transmitted also to the external display.
Digital output is intended for setting by the user selected parameters of operation of the anemometer also for service purposes. Characteristic feature of the anemometer is a possibility to record measurement data in the memory, after braking of the transmission-supply line.
Real time of carried out measurements and ambient temperature (option) are recorded except measurement data. This operation mode can be used for autonomous measurements of speed in locations without possibility of connection to transmission-supply network.
